This itself speaks for the volume of discoveries by China and with an interesting history behind it. Approximately 8000 years ago a Taoist by the name of Fu Hsi formulated the first two symbols that depict a broken and an unbroken line. These lines were symbolic of creation and reception and the interaction of these two lines represented life. Many objects have been unravelled by the excavations from the old and new stone age. Interestingly enough, while the new Stone Age artefacts consisted of knives made of stone for medical procedures, the medical instruments unravelled from the new Stone Age period consisted of stones that had been carved in to hair thin needles. These were called Bien. It is believed that ancient chinese acupuncture gained popularity in China during the period of the Yellow Emperor by the name of Huang Di (2697-2597). Though hieroglyphic evidence shows that ancient chinese acupuncture not only utilized the bien stone but also developed bronze needles as well. Four gold needles have been unravelled in the Warren states era. Nan Jing which is a book with all these information also reveals about such findings.

”systematic classic of Acupuncture and moxibustion” is known to be the most noted text of Ancient chinese acupuncture. Transition however was noted in Ancient chinese acupuncture later. During the Tan dynasty (618-907) and many texts thereafter, acupuncture became a formal branch of medicinal education in China. Many acupuncture schools appeared in this time and essentially being the highlighting part of many texts found. Ancient chinese acupuncture has also been noted in the Ming dynasty (1568-1644).

Between the Ming Dynasty and all the way up to the 1960’s, ancient chinese acupuncture and other traditional medicinal practices took a backseat. Western medicines gained more popularity and were given preference over traditional cures.  ’Harmful’, ‘premitive’ were the two words used to describe Ancient chinese acupuncture.  ’barefoot doctors’ have emerged with this. These doctors practiced ancient chinese acupuncture on a small scale in villages and thus helped keep alive this magnificent ancient medical discovery. After the 1970’s though people started to appreciate the merits of ancient Chinese acupuncture and research it. This therefore led to the modernization of an ancient scientific discovery.

Solving Problems With Lucid Dreaming

Sometimes known as conscious dreaming, lucid dreaming is the art of keeping self aware and knowing that one is dreaming while in a dream. This includes being conscious that the events unfolding around you are only part of the dream and being able to exercise control over the dream. All of this is possible for the person who has learned how to use lucid dreaming.

This is a true metaphysical power, this power over your own lucid dreams actions and events. Instead of things being done to you, you are the star, and the writer, of the story, and you can use this power to help bring about great changes in your own waking life.

Can it be so simple? Yes – lucid dreaming really can make those things that in the waking hours seem impossibly difficult come to life in reality.

Luckily, it’s really not that hard to begin lucid dreaming, as long as you are determined to learn it. There are proven ways to help you access this ability and use your untapped mental power.

In order to master the art of lucid dreaming, you must establish your objective clearly. For instance do you only want a private haven in the form of lucid dreaming or do you want to learn for a precise reason of developing your skills? You must have a clear objective in mind, no matter your reason for learning to lucid dream.

But once you see clearly what your aim is, you can start the process of mastering lucid dreaming. Dream Recall is the first step. This is where you become able to remember, in detail, the dreams of your previous night’s sleep. Without Dream Recall, there can be no lucid dreaming.

Understand the process is slow. However, you can be successful by keeping a personal Dream Recall Register. You will begin by listing daily all the details you are able to recall about your dream. You can enjoy your lucid dreams. In order for you to pinpoint the best time for lucid dreaming it is most helpful to keep a record of your personal sleeping patterns.
