Endometriosis is defined as an infection of the reproductive system of a female where groups of cells from the uterus lining invade different parts of the body. The areas that are affected most often are the ovaries and the walls of the pelvic and abdominal cavities.Endometriosis is mostly diagnosed to women who are in their twenties to forties, those who ave never been pregnant, and those who have gone through severe menstrual pain and infertility.
Doctors have it that endometriosios results from menstrual blood that flows from the uterus straight to the pelvic and abdominal cavities. This blood contains clusters of urine cells. These cells can attach themselves on organs, ligaments, and cavity walls. These endometrial clusters have stimulated growth through oestrogen. Oestrogen is the hormone that stimulates the monthly growth of the urine lining. Depending on where the clusters are located, endometriosis may generate symptoms such as irritation of the bladder, pain during sexual intercourse, and even severe menstrual cramps. This illness can cause damages to your ovaries and other reproductive organs which often leads to infertility.
There is no fixed endometriosis treatment but for most patients they would have decreased severity of the illness during menopause, whether natural or induced. Endometriosis that is not so severe may not require any treatment. Doctors treat some patients with hormones, which may be able to stop the disease. With patients in the reproductive years, endometriosis is simply managed by providing pain relief, to restrict development of the process, and to reduce infertility if that should be an issue. In more severe cases, this may have to be treated with surgery. For women who want to get pregnant still, doctors limit their surgery only to cluster removal. In the meantime, women who don’t have plans of getting pregnant or can no longer bear a child should undergo hysterectomy or removal of the womb.
The best cure for endometriosis is not to have it in the first place.
These are some information you should learn about when it comes to endometriosis.

Diabetes Type 1
Type 1 diabetes is a disease that destroys all of a person’s cells that are responsible for producing insulin in the person’s pancreas. Whenever the body is no longer able to regulate the person’s blood sugar levels, then daily injections of insulin are required in order to sustain that person’s life.Someday soon hopefully science will have a breakthrough and figure out what causes type 1 diabetes. However, it is generally believed that a person’s environment and genetics play a key role.
Type 1 Diabetes who is affected by it and why do only certain people get it?
Type 1 diabetes is a disease that affects more than a million people in the United States alone.Diabetes is a very bad disease to get, it could lead to blindness along with hear problems and stroking out your kidneys could be severely affected and also the circulation issues could result in amputation to limbs along with gang green when cuts don’t want to heal.Unfortunately, it is necessary for anyone who is diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes will need to develop an excellent self starter management program.
Symptoms Of Type 1 Diabetes
The symptoms of type 1 diabetes include excessive thirst, frequent urination, weight loss, excessive hunger, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fatigue and in women it causes them to stop menstruating.
Implementing A Type 1 Diabetes Self-Management Plan
Most of the time it is easier to implement a type 1 diabetes self-management plan for people who are able to maintain a consistent schedule in their lives.People with employment that requires them to travel or work at on different shift around the clock, and then there are people who are responsible for taking care of others such as children and elderly relatives will have a harder time.
Usually self-management involves the patient giving themselves daily injections of insulin. When deciding whether to use an insulin pump or not on the up side it is very small and it can be worn under clothing around the waist,.The good thing about having the catheter put under the skin is that you don’t have to give yourself shot anymore the catheter will do it automatically around the clock. The device can be removed whenever necessary and the insulin dosages can be easily changed to keep blood sugar in check. When it comes to supplies needed for taking care of your diabetes, the pump is a option that makes thing a bit more convenient.
Having a comprehensive diabetes self-management program is very important when it comes to controlling type 1 diabetes. There are many new methods to do this becoming available as medical science continues to pursue new ways to treat and manage this disease. However, for now, those people who have type 1 diabetes should continue to do everything possible to keep the disease at bay so that they can safeguard their health.

Also known as Stein-Leventhal Syndrome, the polycystic ovarian syndrome is a hormonal deficiency that causes a lot of women to have different symptoms. It is considered an endocrine disorder that is affecting more or less 5% of all women. This happens to all nationalities and races, and PCOS syndrome is a leading cause of infertility and the cause of a widespread hormonal disorder for women who are in the childbearing age.
Polycystic ovarian syndrome symptoms include irregular menstruation, excessive amounts of androgenic hormones, and also acne. The symptoms and its severity varies in every woman. Causes are quite unknown except for insulin resistance, diabetes, and obesity whose causes are known and are strongly associated with PCOS syndrome.
Other symptoms are weight gain, skin discoloration, high cholesterol levels, high blood pressure, unusual hair growth and distribution and even dandruff. Many of these symptoms may not be present but women with PCOS will always have irregular menstruation periods or don’t undergo it at all.Women who don’t experience regular ovulation don’t produce egg cells each month and that often leads to irregular menstruation.
There is no certain cause of this disorder but it’s found out that women who have this kind of disorder have a mother and sister with PCOS but even so it’s not enough to say that it’s hereditary.Often you can find small cysts in the ovaries of those women who have PCOS, a reason for the name polycystic ovarian syndrome. There are comparable numbers of cysts that may take place in women without PCOS. Hence, the cysts themselves would not be the main cause of the predicament. Most often there is a breakdown in the blood sugar level control or the insulin system for women who have PCOS; thus, it has been established by researchers that irregularities may be related to PCOS development. Women who suffer from PCOS have ovaries that are popular for producing excessive amounts of male hormones called androgen. This extreme production of male hormones may be an outcome of the irregularities the production of insulin.

Chlorhexidine is a powerful chemical formula that is prescribed as a mouthwash mostly after dental surgery in the United States. This mouthwash may also be prescribed for various other situations.
Most often you will also receive a warning not to use it for more than two or a few weeks. This is because Chlorhexidine can stain your teeth.
Things are little different in Europe than in the United States. Some things are sold over-the-counter there that you cannot get without a prescription in the United States.
I was in a drug store in Germany and found some Chlorhexidine. I was initially excited because it claimed to be an "anti-staining’ formula. Since I was travelling and did not have access to the tools I normally use for my daily oral care, I thought I’d give this ‘anti-staining’ formula a try.
Forget it! Within a week I could see that it was beginning to stain my teeth. I promptly stopped using it.
Dental health is a problem for almost every human being alive. There is a small percentage of the population that appears to be immune to gum disease, but most of us have to fight against it at one point or another.
In fact, as I recall, I found a stat on the Mayo Clinic’s website stating that 95% of people over age 65 have some form of gum disease. If true, the implications are staggering! Just think about it.
The problem is that this is not a disease that happens as a result of aging as many people think. You can be six years old and have the disease. What is important is that people become more aware of it.
Even your dentist will tell you that your dental health is largely up to what you do at home! They can only see you a couple to a few times a year at most. That does mean that the bulk of the work in caring for your dental health falls on you personally. This is one of those things that we pretty much have to do for ourselves!
Learn what you can do to help stop the progression of gum disease based on what you do at home. Prevent this serious problem from causing you to lose teeth.

If you live in the north, then you are no doubt aware that fall and winter bring the flu season.. This year Swine flu has gotten front page in the news. The vaccine is sold out immediately because of fear of contracting this famous virus. Health officials claim that 200,000 of the 5 to 20% of people who get the flu will be hospitalized, and 36,000 will die from the flu this year.
When you talk honestly with the medical community, however, they will tell you that the Swine flu is not worse than any before it. Some even say the above statistics are not exactly honest. For example, the 36,000 who die include those with serious medical issues in other areas that weakened them. To them the flu was indeed a serious matter.
Recently I was sent a link giving 9 reasons why not to give your children to flu vaccine. These included, a) prior flu vaccination programs have proved to be worthless; b) Swine flu is just another flu, not something unusually lethal; c) the consequences may be more dangerous than getting the flu itself; d) the vaccine has not been proved that it works; e) over-vaccinating children is a common problem. Yet, though Swine flu may be exploited, no one wants to get sick with the flu.
Whether you or your loved ones get the flu shot, there are certain measures you can take to greatly decrease your chances of getting the flu. Using running water and liquid soap, wash you hands thoroughly and often. (Antibacterial soap does not work better than regular liquid soap) . Use a dishwasher if possible for plates and utensils because it uses much hotter water than hands can stand and thus kills more germs. If someone does get the flu, isolate them and keep your family away from others who show flu-like symptoms.
Even your drinking water can be a source of contamination. Probably your source of drinking water has been tested. City water requires a rigid standard, and well water should be tested regularly. However, especially during this season, additional filtering is highly recommended. Who’s to know whether your water has been contaminated and it doesn’t take much to do so. By filtering your drinking water, you can be sure pathogens are not present.
For example, the Black Berkey water filters were tested by adding more than 10,000 times the concentration of pathogens per liter than would be used in standard testing. Under such conditions, it would be normal to expect 100,000 or more pathogens per liter. The report concluded, “Incredibly the purification elements removed 100% of the pathogens. Absolutely no pathogens were cultured from the effluent or were able to be detected, even under an electron microscope, setting a new standard in water purification”. This amazing result might nudge many into taking the step of filtering their drinking water to be safe.
These activated charcoal filter rods have been tested to remove Klebsiella, E. Coli, Pseudomonas, Giardia, Aeriginousis, and Cryptosporitium resulting in non-detectable levels. Though these pathogens are hard to read, let alone to say, when allowed to enter our systems, each could cause serious illness. The promise of removing them to non-detectable levels is certainly reassuring.
The flu season won’t go away. Many options face us as to how we can avoid getting sick. Hopefully these simple suggestions will keep you and your family healthier as you follow them carefully.
Also consider the excellent protection your family would receive from a Berkey Water Filter. They are able to filter out a much higher percentage of contaminants than most filters where water pressure forces the contaminants through. Learn more about the amazing effectiveness of the Black Berkey Filters, including how they can filter up to 6000 gallons with each included pair of filters.
