Eating Healthy with Acai Berry

Until recently, few people had heard of the acai juice but, nowadays, it is almost impossible not notice the sheer number of acai berry products on the market. Not only there are lots of acai berry products sold in specialized health food stores including Whole Foods or GNC but you would also find tons of acai berry drinks in everyday grocery stores such as Wal-Mart, Hy-Vee, Kroger, Vons, Price Chopper and so on. As a matter of fact, if you are curious to try an acai berry juice, it is easy to just pick one up when you visit the stores.

People began to pay more attention to the acai berry when they hear about all the vitamins and minerals that the acai berry is supposed to have. Not only some health experts and scientists claim that perhaps the fruit of the acai palm tree is one of the most nutrient rich fruits on the planet, but a few researchers even published that there is a possibility that it might even help in discovering a cure for cancer. In a very famous experiement conducted and published by researchers at the University of Florida, the acai berry is found to kill a lot of cancer in sample cells. There needs to be more research done, of course, but many people are hopeful because this is a great start which can lead to finding a cure for cancer.

Because there are such a large number of acai berry products nowadays, it can be hard to guess which ones are the best and which ones are the most appropriate for your need. Since the acai berry grows in Brazil, in some places there, you can buy fresh acai berries. If you live elsewhere and you do not like drinking juices then there are many other options including acai smoothies, acai powder, acai tea, and acai ice cream or sorbet that you can choose instead. They are all tasty and nutritious.
